NobleHour Volunteer Guide
To access an existing NobleHour account click the Log In button and then select the Forgot Password link.
Enter your email address and then select Email Link.
Check your inbox and spam folder for an email regarding resetting your password. Click the link in your email to finish creating a new password.
Create your new password and then click the Reset button. That's it! You're all set and now have access to your NobleHour account to begin signing up for volunteer opportunties, tracking hours, and reporting on your service.
Click the Login button and then select Not a Member? Register.
Complete the registration form to set up your account.
You'll be asked to verify your identify with a passcode sent to the email address provided in the registration form. Check your inbox and spam folder for this email.
Click on the link in the email or copy and paste the code in the box on the verification page.
That's it! You're all set and now have access to your NobleHour account to begin signing up for volunteer opportunties, tracking hours, and reporting on your service.
Click on My Account and then Self Report your Volunteer Service.
- Choose the Group or Organization these hours are for.
- Enter in the organization where you volunteered.
- Enter your volunteer coordinator's name who can verify that you volunteered.
- Enter your volunteer coordinator's email address so they can receive the verification link.
- Select an optional Impact Area.
- Enter the name of the volunteer event.
- Enter the start date and time.
- Enter the end date and time.
- Enter the total hours volunteered.
- Enter your reflection or feedback.
- Rate your experience.
After self-reporting your hours an email is sent to the email address provided for your volunteer coordinator. They have to click the verification link in their inbox to mark your attendance. If mark as attended, the hours will appear on the Account Overview page.
If you notice that your self-reported hours are still awaiting verification, you can send a reminder. Sending a reminder will trigger another verification email to the email address provided for your volunteer coordinator. You will see the Send a Reminder link on the Account Overview page in the Self-Reported Hours section.
The Send a Reminder link will only appear if your hours are awaiting verification.
Your organization or community partners may list volunteer opportunities that are available for sign up. You can view these by selecting the For Volunteers menu and then selecting Find a Volunteer Opportunity or Calendar.
Select a volunteer opportunity that you are interested in and then select Sign Up.
When your shift is over, the volunteer coordinator will mark your attendance. If marked as attended, you'll see these hours appear on your Account Overview page.
If you need to update your personal information that you entered from the registration page, select the My Account menu and then Personal Information.
