Adding Calendar Reminders for Volunteer Signups
Adding calendar reminders is a great way for volunteers to ensure they don't miss an opportunity to make an impact volunteering. There are 3 commons ways to add a calendar invites.
Registration Confirmation Page
The option to download a calendar file is available on the registration confirmation page after a volunteer signs up for a volunteer opportunity.
Volunteers can download a calendar file for iCloud, Google, Outlook (Exchange), Outlook (Online), or Yahoo. After downloading the file, double click the file to import it using your default calendar application. You can also login to your web calendar and import the file.
Account Overview Page
Volunteers can also download a calendar file for reminders from their account overview page. The link will be available in the Upcoming Opportunities section.
Mobile Device Shortcut
iOS and Android devices provide options to click and hold a date in your email and then create an event for reminders. Here is an example of how it would look on an iOS device.
