HOC4 Release Notes 1.33.0

RELEASE NOTES  LLH4v1.33.0

Release Date: September 3, 2026

Bug Fixes

Improved Diagnostics for Unexpected Access Changes  LHH-23795

Issue: Previously assigned site access could be removed unexpectedly.

Resolution: Added logging to help trace unexpected access changes. Further corrective changes and testing are tracked separately; this release does not confirm a complete fix.

Restore Forms for Logged-In Users  LHH-23855

Issue: Forms configured as visible to logged-in users could remain hidden because of incorrect profile selections.

Resolution: Corrected affected visibility configurations and updated profile selection when enabling visibility for logged-in users.

Support Apostrophes in Email Addresses  LHH-23858

Issue: Registration forms could reject email addresses containing an apostrophe.

Resolution: Added an optional site-level setting to allow apostrophes in email addresses. Existing behavior remains unchanged unless the setting is enabled.

Reduce Unnecessary Search Service CPU Usage  LHH-23864

Issue: The search service could consume excessive CPU during low traffic because cache cleanup entered an endless loop.

Resolution: Replaced the loop with a single, protected cleanup attempt that exits safely when the cache is unavailable.

Improvements

Time Fields in Form Builder  LHH-22863

Issue: Form Builder did not offer a dedicated field for Salesforce Time values.

Resolution: Added a Time field for entering time-of-day values without applying timezone conversions.

Preserve Existing Contact Record Types During Registration  LHH-23598

Issue: Reusing an existing Salesforce Contact during registration could attempt to change its record type, causing permission or validation errors.

Resolution: Registration now preserves existing Contacts' record types while continuing to use configured record types for newly created Contacts.

Quick Access to Page Code Injection  LHH-23792

Issue: Moving between a page and its Code Injection settings required several navigation steps.

Resolution: Added a CMS toolbar shortcut to create or update Code Injection for the current page.

Centralized Salesforce Authentication for Synchronization  LHH-23808

Issue: Synchronization services needed support for centralized Salesforce token refresh.

Resolution: Added configurable integration with the centralized token service using certificate-based authentication, while retaining the existing refresh method for compatibility.

Preview Registration Workflow Pages  LHH-23813

Issue: CMS administrators needed a supported way to preview individual ARS pages while building registration workflows.

Resolution: Added a Preview Page button restricted to CMS administrators, preserving direct-access protections for regular users.

Prevent Verification Code Processing Errors  LHH-23835

Issue: An incorrectly formatted diagnostic message could trigger an exception during verification code processing.

Resolution: Corrected message formatting so diagnostic logging no longer causes the exception.

Automatic Recovery from Expired Salesforce Sessions  LHH-23872

Issue: Salesforce API operations needed consistent recovery when a session expired or became invalid.

Resolution: Added automatic token refresh and a one-time retry, with refreshed credentials reused across related calls.

Favorites Menu and Toolbar Refinements  LHH-23878

Issue: Favorites menu validation and utility-bar styling needed refinement.

Resolution: Added Favorites menu validation and updated utility-bar styles.

RELEASE NOTES  LLH4v1.33.1

Release Date: September 10, 2026

Bug Fixes

Consistent Opportunity Card Sizes  LHH-23883

Issue: Longer opportunity titles could make individual cards larger than neighboring cards.

Resolution: Updated card styling to maintain consistent sizing when title lengths vary.

Correct Site Links in Multi-Site Communications  LHH-23932

Issue: Opportunity-related links and emails could point to the wrong site when multiple sites shared an integration.

Resolution: Updated the integration to populate the requesting-site field whenever available, removing a configuration dependency used to select site-specific Salesforce Flow email templates.

Improvements

More Reliable Salesforce Credential Selection  LHH-23902

Issue: Integrations with both HOC3 and HOC4 credentials could select the wrong authentication profile, causing connection failures and unnecessary retries.

Resolution: Corrected credential selection, improved handling of non-retryable authentication errors, and strengthened diagnostic logging without exposing credentials.

Note: This update was deployed early on September 4, 2026.
