HOC Release Notes 3.0.10.57 (May 26, 2022)

This release provides under the hood improvements to make HOC public sites operate more efficiently when interacting with Salesforce.  It also provides some bug fixes and new features as described below:

Ability to sign up for multiple Occurrences

You can now open a request with HOC Support to enable the setting that allows volunteers to sign up for multiple Occurrences simultaneously. When this setting is enabled there will be a checkbox that will allow volunteers to sign up for more than 1 shift.

This feature works only for Date & Time Specific Opportunities. If the Occurrence or Occurrence fields are used in an Advanced Registration (ARS), the Multi-signup choice will not be displayed. The same applies if there is a payment component.

Sharing Portal's Partner Switcher in Custom Menu

The Partner Switcher component shown in the image below can now be included in custom menus for the Sharing Portal.

HOC  App

Fixed an issue where some sites would appear twice on the HandsOn Connect app.

Opportunity Sign-Up ARS Confirmation Page

Fixed an issue with the Opportunity ARS confirmation page that excluded the opportunity details, add to calendar link, and social media sharing options.

Keyword Search Source - Listing Block

We've added a new source option for Listing Blocks that will search a site's CMS pages using a keyword search.

Authenticated Page Improvements

We have improved the functionality of authenticated pages in two key ways:

  1. If an unauthenticated user attempts to access a page that requires authentication, they will be asked to login. After their login, they will be redirected to the page they were trying to access.
  2. If a user is authenticated (logged in), but do not have the appropriate permission to view the page they will see a 403 error page.
