HOC Release Notes 3.0.10.64 (September 1, 2022)

This release provides under the hood improvements to make HOC public sites operate more efficiently when interacting with Salesforce. It also provides some bug fixes and new features as described below:

Expand or collapse content Use of Custom Session Variables on Pages (HOC3-16201)

Custom Session Variables can now be used on Pages. Creating a Custom Session Variable is another way to specify who is authorized to view a page.

  1. Create a new field or use an existing field on the Contact or Account object.
  2. In the CMS go to AddOns --> Custom Session Variables and create a new one using the field that you specified in step 1.
  3. In the Advanced Settings of Pages select the option Logged users by session variable for the Authorized For field.

Expand or collapse content Custom Form Performance Improvements ( HOC3-16295)

Improved the speed when switching fields in a Custom Form with a lot of fields.

Expand or collapse content Volunteer Skill Performance Improvements (HOC3-16344)

Improved the user experience and load time when adding a certification for a volunteer skill.

Now when entering a password there will be an eye symbol that will allow the user to see what they entered.

Improved how past Events appear on the Public Site.

Expand or collapse content Custom Form: Address Component (HOC3-16433)

The Address Component is out of beta and now can be utilized in Custom Forms. The Address Component makes it easier and quicker to add addresses and map the fields in Salesforce.
