Overview

This release improves Salesforce error message handling in the listing CMS block to provide cleaner, user-friendly error messages and corrects a Lithuanian translation issue where the email confirmation page was incorrectly displaying French text.

LHH-23058 – Salesforce Error Messages Displaying Technical Details to Volunteers

• What was the issue?

• When volunteers encountered Salesforce errors during shift sign-up on a listing CMS block with edit mode enabled, the error messages displayed raw technical details directly to the user. Additionally, if the same error occurred for multiple records, the error message was shown multiple times, creating a confusing and inconsistent experience. This differed from the simpler, cleaner error messages shown on standard sign-up pages.

• What was solved?

• We improved the error preprocessing logic to strip technical details from user-facing error messages while retaining the full technical information in web service logs for troubleshooting. Error messages are now consolidated to prevent duplicate text when the same error occurs across multiple records. The initial error text was also improved to better explain the problem, since listing CMS edit mode can trigger multiple updates and errors simultaneously. No changes were required at the HOC3 package level.

Result: Volunteers now see clean, user-friendly error messages during shift sign-up on listing CMS blocks, consistent with the experience on standard sign-up pages. Technical details remain available in logs for support and debugging.

LHH-23121 – Lithuanian Translation Showing French Text on Email Confirmation Page

• What was the issue?

• When the site language was set to Lithuanian, the "Confirm your email" page displayed after a new volunteer registration was showing French text instead of Lithuanian. The translation resource for this item contained an incorrect value, causing the wrong language to appear.

• What was solved?

• The incorrect French translation value in the Lithuanian language resource was replaced with the correct Lithuanian text ("Išsiuntėme jums el. laišką. Patikrinkite savo pašto dėžutę.") for the email confirmation page.

Result: The email confirmation page now correctly displays Lithuanian text when the site language is set to Lithuanian.
